Congress passed the first Epstein Files Transparency Act in 2025. Act II would let survivors, state officials and members of Congress sue over unlawfully withheld records. It still needs to pass.
Our translation: “Remember that other law? We were fucking serious.”
The next Congress takes office January 3, 2027. If the bill has to be reintroduced, we expect them to pick it up. That’s what “equivalent successor legislation” means in the pledge.
